Gene Twiggs is the stone cutting artist behind Twiggstones Lapidary & Jewelry. He has been cutting and polishing stones/gems for over 10 years. Originally from Louisiana, Gene moved to Abilene from Atlanta in 2019.
Gene is on site most days, and can be seen at his faceting machine cutting stones for jewelry.

LINDA GEBERT - Wichita, Kansas

"My jewelry features primarily vitreous enamel fired onto copper or silver, or cloisonné enamel (incorporating small pure silver wires) along with sterling silver, or mixed metals such as etched copper, brass and nickel silver. All earrings have hypoallergenic sterling silver ear wires or posts.
Nature, portrayed realistically or as metaphor, seems to invariably appear in my work, whether as a conscious design element, or making itself known unconsciously as texture or pattern."
BARRY WEST - Abilene, Kansas
Barry is one of those special artists that celebrates art in many forms - he has produced paintings, sculptures and makes beautiful pottery. He is known by many in this area as an inspirational art teacher.
We are fortunate to have a few examples of his pottery available.
CHARLES HAMMATT - Abilene, Kansas
Charles was born in South Louisiana. He found an appreciation for leather work after serving in the United States Navy. This self taught craftsman hand cuts, dyes and stitches custom, hand made works of art. His work can be seen on Facebook at Hammatt Leather Works and custom pieces are available upon request.
DOUG NUTTELMAN - Abilene, Kansas
Doug grew up on a Christmas tree farm south of Enterprise, Kansas, and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University. An art hobbyist, he pulls inspiration from nature and music, and is a fan of color and lines.
